Jai Hind Academy
Course 1 - Democracy Digital
A hands-on workshop for budding filmmakers from the Social Sector
This 10-day residential intensive training programme is meant for budding video professionals.. This course will not only introduce participants to the basics of documentary filmmaking and digital storytelling but also allow them to explore and think about the issues that concern us all.
To attend this, all one needs are common resources like a smartphone, a laptop and access to social media. The course will equip participants with the basics of videography, sound recording, video editing, graphics and online streaming besides conducting research, scriptwriting interviewing etc. A certificate will be awarded to all participants.
As participants all you need to bring is a smartphone with HD-quality video filming capability and ample memory space (a more professional video camera or DSLR would be an added advantage). A laptop to edit videos will also be an advantage but is not essential (some editing is possible even on smartphones or tablets).
Looking forward to your interest and participation.
